Plein Air Painting on the Coast of Maine

It's so nice to be out of the studio and painting plein air again. On Tuesday I met a friend and we set up our easels at Five Islands, Maine.

 

My efforts included this painting below.

On the way back we stopped for a quick set up at the marshes in Wiscasset, limiting ourselves to 20 minutes.

On Friday I met another friend at the Holbrook Island Sanctuary on Cape Rosier. Every where you looked there was another fantastic scene to paint!
