This is what I saw when I looked out my window this afternoon!
I don't know why the first snow of the season always comes as a surprise.
Taking trees down, cutting and splitting wood gets a little harder to do each year!
But I'm always glad I did it.

Yes, I did. Every bit of it. I even took some of the trees down. A neighbor with a tractor helped take most of them down and haul them out of the woods for me. But then I had to cut them stove length, split them and stack them. Let it snow!
